Details
Companies can request a change of name and / or their trading symbol in Dubai CSD, subject to an official request submitted to Dubai CSD. The companies must submit to the Dubai CSD the details of the change via an official letter 10 working days prior to the change to come into force, in order to coordinate with Dubai CSD’s internal departments to execute the change on the designated date.

Procedures
The company should send an official correspondence indicating the details of the change, including:
- If the company name is to be changed, both the old and new company names are to be specified in Arabic and English.
- If the trading symbol is to be changed, both the old and new symbols should be specified.
- Execution date.
- Necessary approvals should be enclosed.
- Payment of fees.
- Dubai CSD will notify all relevant departments to execute the change on the specified date.
- Brokers and custodians licensed with Dubai CSD will be notified of the change via email.
- A confirmation letter and Payment receipt is issued to the company.
Required Documents
- Company correspondence.
- Attaching a copy of the Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) approval.
- In case the name of the establishment was changed, a copy of the valid Commercial License and Commercial Registry with the new name must also be attached.
