Investor Signature Authentication at Dubai CSD Company

Details

The Investor Signature Form is an essential document required to verify the investor's identity and authenticate the signature of the investor in the Dubai CSD .

The investor signature is authenticated once he or she request to issue an investor number at Dubai CSD

If the investor requested to update the signature in the system, it is required to submit The Investor Signature Form

Procedures

Investors signature must be certified by one of the following:

  1. Licensed Trading member at Dubai Financial Market
  2. An accredited Bank in UAE licensed by UAE Central Bank
  3. Notary Public and UAE Embassy in foreign countries or by the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs
Required Documents

For Individuals:

UAE Nationals and Residents: Valid copy of the Emirates National ID
Non Residents: Valid copy of the Passport

In addition to specific documentations depending on:

In case of a Minor (below 18 years):

  • The signature of the Guardian (the Father)
  • Valid copy of the guardian’s Emirates National ID
  • In case of a guardian other than the father: true copy of duly authenticated guardianship order issued by the court or Notary public
  • Guardianship orders issued outside UAE must be certified by the UAE Embassy in those countries or the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs

In case of a Marsoom Holder:

  • Valid copy of the Marsoom issued from Federal Authority for Identify and Citizenship addressed to Dubai CSD or To Whom It May Concern

For Companies/Institutions/Governments/Banks /Funds/Trading Members registered at DFM:

  • Valid copy of the Trade License and Commercial Register
  • True copy of the Memorandum of Association
  • True copy of a duly authenticated Authorized signatory letter issued by the company. The letter is not required in case the authorized signatory is mentioned in the Memorandum of Association
  • Valid copy of the Emirates National ID of authorized signatory
  • Any document issued from other countries must be authenticated by the official authorities and the UAE Embassy in those countries or the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

     

  • In addition to specific documentations depending on:

    In case of a Representative (for all investor types):
  • Valid copy of a duly authenticated Power of Attorney issued from the court or Notary Public
  • Valid copy of the representative’s Emirates National ID
  • A Power of Attorney issued from other countries must be authenticated by the official authorities and the UAE Embassy in those countries or by UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs
