Transfer From Partner to Company & Vice Versa

Details
Transferring securities from a company account to the account of a partner or vice versa.
Fees

(up to 2nd degree kinship)

0.002 (two per thousand) from the shares market value, minimum AED 25. (No. of shares*market value*rate)+ (5%) VAT

(common partners)

0.004 (five per thousand) from the shares market value, minimum AED 50 (No. of shares*market value*rate)+ (5%) VAT
Procedures

Completed Transfer of Securities Form duly signed 

  1. Submit the form through a licensed DFM trading member
  2. Investor Affairs Department will issue a voucher with the fees required to be paid by the investor

Notes:

  • Investor KYC and FATCA/CRS information for both the Transferor & Transferee must be updated to apply and view the service.
  • Ensure that the DFM Investor Number for both the Transferor & Transferee are updated
  • Ensure that the payment method is updated for both the Transferor & Transferee
  • Ensure that the transferred shares are available in the CSD account of the Transferor
  • Investor’s signature must be certified by one of the following:
    • Licensed Trading Member at Dubai Financial Market
    • An accredited Bank in UAE licensed by UAE Central Bank
    • Notary Public and UAE Embassy in foreign countries or by the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs
Required Documents
  • Completed Transfer of Securities Form duly signed
  • For partners:
    • UAE National and Residents: valid Copy of the Emirates National ID
    • Non-Residents: valid copy of the passport
  • Valid copy of the Trade License and Commercial Register
  • True copy of the Memorandum of Association
  • Any document issued from other countries must be authenticated by the official authorities and the UAE Embassy in those countries or the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In addition to specific documentations depending on:

In case of an authorized signatory:

  • True copy of a duly authenticated Authorized signatory letter issued by the company
  • Valid Copy of Passport or Emirates National ID of the authorized signatory

In case of representative:

  • Valid copy of a duly authenticated Power of Attorney issued from the court or Notary Public. The representative must be fully authorized to transfer securities
  • Valid copy of the representative’s passport or Emirates National ID
  • A Power of Attorney issued from other countries must be authenticated by the official authorities and the UAE Embassy in those countries or by UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs
