Transfer of Securities Between Trading Member Accounts

Details
The transfer service is used when an investor or their representative asks to transfer all or part of the balance of their securities from their account with a Trading Member to their account with another Trading Member. This cannot be done unless the first Trading Member agrees
Fees

AED 10 for each company that has been transferred.

Procedures
  1. The requesting Trading Member to complete the Transfer Securities Between Members Request Form
  2. The requesting Trading Member should send it to the other Trading Member
  3. The Trading Member to submit the form along with the required documents to Dubai CSD
  4. Trading Member will process the transfer accordingly and send the request to Dubai CSD for approval
  5. Dubai CSD will issue a voucher with the fees required to be paid

Notes:

  • The investor signature on the form should match the authenticated signature in Dubai CSD
  • The Form should be signed and authenticated by both Trading Members
Required Documents
  • Completed Transfer Securities Between Trading Members Request Form
  • Completed Investor Signature Form (if requested)

    For Individuals:

  • Valid Copy of the Passport
  • Valid Copy of the Emirates National ID (for UAE Nationals and Residents only)
  • Any document issued from other countries must be authenticated by the official authorities and the UAE Embassy in those countries or by the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs

    In addition to specific documentations depending on:

    In case of a Minor (below 18 years):

  • The signature of the Guardian (the Father)
  • Valid copy of the guardian’s Passport or Emirates National ID
  • In case of a guardian other than the father: true copy of duly authenticated guardianship order issued by the court or Notary public

     

    For Companies Institutions/Governments/Banks /Funds/ Trading Members registered at DFM:

  • Valid copy of the Trade License and Commercial Register
  • True copy of the Memorandum of Association
  • Valid copy of the Passport or Emirates National ID of all partners
  • True copy of a duly authenticated Authorized signatory letter issued by the company (this document is not required in case the authorized signatory is not mentioned in the Memorandum of Association)
  • Valid Copy of Passport and Emirates National ID of the authorized signatory
  • Any document issued from other countries must be authenticated by the official authorities and the UAE embassy in those countries or the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

    In case of a Representative (for all investor types):

  • Valid copy of a duly authenticated Power of Attorney issued from the court or Notary Public
  • Valid copy of the representative’s Passport or Emirates National ID
  • A Power of Attorney issued from other countries must be authenticated by the official authorities and the UAE Embassy in those countries or by UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs
